You'd have to look hard to find a more stubborn dog. Here's someone who hasn't grown out of her teenage years yet and absolutely doesn't do more than what she has to and will only come if you show that you have the right motivation - a piece of candy. Fortunately, she's very kind and incredibly playful. She likes to ”love-bite” us humans everywhere, even in the ears. It's not always appreciated, but the thought is well intentioned. She's also our most talkative Leonberger. She's probably always making noise, when she can't keep up with the other dogs running around she barks, when she wakes up mom she whines and whimper, when she thinks she's starving she whimper, when she thinks we're going to forget her before a walk she growls. The idea was that she would go into breeding but because of bad hips she will only have to live the rest of her life as a lovable companion dog.
